        Since payment advisory service for drugs became available in October 2021 at the Division, the subsequent scope of general consultation service covered health technology assessments prior to application for NHI coverage of new special materials or new healthcare services. In 2022, a total of 7 general consultation cases were completed, including 6 special devices and 1 healthcare service. Issues being consulted about were primarily submission-related issues involved in the NHI-covered proposals.
